We Seem So "Normal"

Saturday night two of my sisters and my niece came over. We always have such a great time together. But we are really silly...I mean, really goofy! We seem pretty normal here though, don't we? Although, in this picture, my niece already suspects that this "normal" behavior won't last long. We've definitely raised her to be one of us!
(From left: my niece D, me, sister E, sister N.)

And here we are in pop art...still relatively "normal," but it becomes evident that at least one of us must act out in some way. This time, it is my sister E with the claws! But really, D still has that ridiculously quizzical look on her face, I seem to have some kind of Zoolander look going on, and only N is really trying to keep things somewhat normal. But that doesn't last long.

After our best attempts at remaining relatively normal, things get...well, twisted. Gotta love iMac's Photo Booth! It has all these crazy features that make for some hilarious photos. Case in point:

From twisted, things became trippy...

...to downright ugly...

...to quite scary, as my sister strangles her daughter, all in good fun of course.

Yes, this is what we do on a Saturday night. And believe me, these photos don't show the half of it! You should see the pics of us with bikini tops over our clothes and the series of shots in which we have a bicep flexing photo contest. We definitely don't take ourselves too seriously. I love these girls! :)

I see you have gotten over your shyness. Or are these photos soon to disappear?

hah. that's pretty funnee. and u look great. er...in the first pix i mean...er, not that u look bad or anything in the other pix...or that anyone looks bad or anything...just funny, but not in a bad or crazy way...geez, i think i better quit while i'm ahead. ;D

richard...i wouldn't say i've gotten over the shyness. but i don't plan on yanking these photos anytime. :)

cavalock...haha. yes, looking good, huh? i personally think we look particularly good in the second to last photo...with the double chins/forehead.

the photo booth on my iMac is so much fun. the various distortions are hilarious. when i first bought my desktop mac, i was playing around with the features and when i stumbled upon photo booth, i was crying so hard i couldn't see. my sister N and i took some distorted photos and they are insanely funny, if not quite disturbing. it makes for good fun though! in fact, my sister E thought it would be fun to have an iMac photo booth at her wedding this summer!

mj...thanks. my new place feels very "right," and by place i not only mean my new apartment, but the place i'm at in life...that level of awareness. still so much work to be done, but so much progress to credit myself for.

B, Graham and I also do it very often, I mean take those distorted pictures with photo booth. I love my Mac just for photo booth alone. It cheers me up and as I see you girls had a lot of fun too!
