"The foliage has been losing its freshness through the month of August, and here and there a yellow leaf shows itself like the first gray hair amidst the locks of a beauty who has seen one season too many."

b, you put your picture there...
it is new rite? i mean, i am not becoming not aware with the new "face" in your blog... hehehe...
ancilla...haha. yes, that is my real picture and i just posted it very recently. i go through phases where i am open to posting my photo and then there are other times where i really resist it! i am honestly not a fan of having my photo taken or viewed. we'll see how long i keep it up! :)
The leaves on the maple in front of my house started changing colour a little over 2 weeks ago - it is always on of the first to change colour and then lose its leaves.
I'm not wholly comfortable with putting my face out to the world, which is why I use an older photo: it is still me.
You know you are getting old when you discover grey chest hairs. sigh.
richard...yes, autumn is here. grey chest hairs? remember, they are a sign of "a beauty who has seen one season too many." wisdom comes with grey hairs apparently! :)
